Once your fence panels are fitted you will want to keep them looking good for as long as possible. This can be done very easily by adding a water proof coating

All fence panels and products are pre treated and can be supplied in a colour of your choice. However if you decide that you would like to change the colour or stain of your wood, we recommend the following process:-

  • Only apply in dry conditions and above 5°C

  • Surfaces should be clean. Remove any dirt, plants or moss

  • Try a test area first to ensure it is the correct colour and that the treatment is being absorbed into the wood.

  • Start by adding a wood preservative

  • Then add a coat of decking oil or other exterior wood oil

Fence & Deck Connection here — great advice! Thorough cleaning, using wood preservative first, and applying oil in dry, warm weather really extend panel life. We also recommend regular inspections to catch rot early. Thanks for sharing these care essentials — much appreciated by all who love long-lasting fencing.
